Our sourcing

मूल · the origin

A botanical is only as good as the ground it grew in.

CalmVida buys single-origin: one ingredient, one region we can name and trace. This is the journey from that ground to a tested, finished bottle.

The Provenance Atlas

Nine regions, each chosen for one botanical.

From shilajit collected above 4,000 metres to boswellia resin tied to one of the oldest trade routes on earth. Select a region to see its terroir.

Why this terroir

Mineral-rich high-altitude rock, the classical source of purified shilajit.

The standard

Source. Test. Compose. Re-check.

Four steps, in this order, behind every product we make. The order matters: nothing is blended before it is verified, and nothing ships before it is verified again.

  1. 01 / 04

    Source at origin

We buy each botanical from the region it grows best, not from a commodity spot market. One ingredient, one place we can name.

  2. 02 / 04

    Test for identity & purity

Before anything is blended, an independent lab confirms the species is what the label says and screens it for heavy metals, pesticides and microbes.

  3. 03 / 04

An Ayurvedic specialist composes the blend

A qualified practitioner sets the ratio and form in the classical manner. This is the formulation logic Ayurveda has refined over centuries.

  4. 04 / 04

    Re-check the finished product

The blended, encapsulated product is tested again, so the certificate you read describes what is actually in the bottle.

Who composes the blend

The formula is set by people, not a trend report.

Tradition is the reasoning behind every CalmVida blend. These are the disciplines that stand behind it.

  • Ayurvedic formulation

    Qualified Ayurvedic practitioner

A qualified Ayurvedic practitioner sets each blend's ratio and form. The classical texts guide the work, not market trends.

  • Botanical identity

    Pharmacognosy

Specialists in plant chemistry confirm species and standardise actives, so 'ashwagandha' is the right Withania species at the right strength.

  • Quality & compliance

    Quality assurance

A quality lead audits each supplier and holds every batch to the same documentation standard, from field to finished bottle.
